$80 plus a $10 materials fee

In this class you will learn all of the hand stitching techniques you will need to make your own beautiful embroidered fabric needle book to keep all your hand sewing tools in one place. We will provide fabric and notions and guide you through building and embellishing your one of a kind project, with options for needle storage, inside pocket, loops to hold clips and scissors, button or ribbon closure, all with a hand decorated flourish. Very basic sewing skill is an asset but not necessary. All materials are provided, however if you have any small scraps of special fabric, ribbon, small flat ornaments or charms, or a special button, feel free to bring those to incorporate into your design!

This is a two week class. In week one you will design your book and get started on decorative embellishments and building the parts that will hold your needles and other items; in week two you will assemble yourbook and finish it with a closure and decorative edging.
